| Customised courses are facilitated by one or more of ProjectManagement.co.za's small select team of specialists.
These include lecturers with a particular industry focus, such as Martin Butler, who has successfully managed several ERP roll-outs as well as many other Information Systems projects in the USA, Kenya and other African countries as a freelance Project Manager. Martin's natural insight into team politics, coupled with his formal background and experience in Information Technology and Business Administration, places a high demand on his services internationally, but he tries to spend as much time as possible with his family whilst working on his PhD and fulfilling the role of Senior Lecturer on an MBA programme. | Other trainers, such as Tania Melnyczuk (a Director at ProjectManagement.co.za), work generically across many industries. Tania is often involved in courses throughout Africa where hands-on scheduling in Microsoft Office Project is required. Whilst frequently training participants from large organisations, Tania's entrepreneurial background allows her to work effectively with smaller companies, while her NGO experience endears her to students on the special university management programme for non-profit organisations.
Some facilitators have a specific interest in the corporate aspects of Project Management. Ivor Johnstone has extensive experience in Project Management and change management, Ivor worked with many different Project Management standards during his decades in Europe, where he assisted in both the adaptation of these standards and in the formulation of unique methodologies according to the vision and strategy of his various client firms. His main area of expertise includes managing large programmes and projects and developing less experienced managers to do so, coaching them in the finer points of project management relevant to their distinct environment. Although he is used to reporting at board level in large international organisations, he is equally comfortable managing and working with entry level staff. |
